Michele Long graduated from Carmel High School in 2007. She started dancing at the age of 8 at Dance Magic Performing Arts Center under the direction of Linda Rees. She competed for 8 years winning numerous titles, dance scholarships, and both regional and national overall awards. In high school, Ms Long was also a part of Orchesta, Choir, Drama and the Coquettes dance team. She was also an assistant for Laurie Johnson with
Tremaine Dance Convention for 6 years.
Michele attended Columbia College in Chicago as a dance and ASL major. During her time there she was also a member of the Human Rhythm Tap Project. She also attend Ball State University in 2008 through 2010 where she was a member of the Ball State Dance Theater for 2 years.
In 2008 Michele was cast as a dancer in the movie "Public Enemies" directed by Michael Mann starring Johnny Depp and Christian Bale. She is also the tap dancer for the "Born Again Floozies". The band performed at the 2012 Superbowl in Indianapolis and in 2014 was nominated for a grammy in the "Best New Artist" category.
Michele started Extreme Rhythm Project in 2010 which has performed at "Circle of Lights",
"Penrod" and the Athenaeum Theater to name a few.
Michele is very excited about the future of A-List Dance Center and is excited to share her love of dance.
