Michele Krause (Long) graduated from Carmel High School in 2007.  She is an Indianapolis native who started dancing at the age of 8 years old.  Michele competed competitively with her dance studio for 8 years winning numerous titles, dance scholarships, and both regional and national overall awards.  In high school, Michele was also a part of Orchestra, Choir, Drama and the Charisma/ Coquettes dance team.  She was also an assistant for Laurie Johnson with Tremaine Dance Convention for 6 years. 

Michele attended Columbia College Chicago as a dance and ASL major.  During her time there she was also an apprentice with Human Rhythm Tap Project.  She left Columbia to attended Ball State University in 2008 through 2010 as a Dance and Criminal Justice major. Michele was also a member of the Ball State Dance Theater for 2 years. 

In 2008 Michele was cast as a dancer in the movie "Public Enemies" directed by Michael Mann starring Johnny Depp and Christian Bale.  She was also the tap dancer for the "Born Again Floozies".  The band performed at the 2012 Superbowl in Indianapolis and in 2014 was nominated for a Grammy in the "Best New Artist" category. 

Michele is very excited about the future of A-List Dance Center and is excited to share her love of dance with all her students.
